Silas Este Freeman was a wonderful person inside and out. Those who knew him saw rays from the sun on a rainy day when he was around. Silas was special from the time he was born. His smile and laughter made everyone happy because that was the characteristic that he shared with others. They said on his first day on earth, God gave Silas a chance and not let him die at birth. We will always ask how could they know? How could they tell the joy he'd bring? He taught our hearts the way to sing and we loved him so. We learned together through the years to show the joy, but hide the tears they must not see. They'd never learn the hurt they caused through thoughtless stares that on him paused so carelessly. As he grew, we could never grieved to see how little we thought he would never achieved. We prayed he would not lose to the progress made in life's tough school. People tried to measured him with a shorter rule than most scholars use. We can't believe he owed his day to some genetic disarray. It was God's blessing for Silas to be conceived because when he came into this world, he was to teach us how to care. That he did achieve! He was a wonder child, spirited child that had grown and thrived. Silas every achievement will always fill us with pride. No matter the voice used, two words can't describe the fullness you've added to so many lives. Down syndrome, those frightening words whispered so long ago. It never did prepare us for the person we will always love and always know.
Silas Este Freeman will be truly missed by a host of relatives and friends. III John 1:4
