In loving memory of Sharon Renee Mayes, who was a loving mother, wonderful daughter, an amazing grandmother and devoted friend to all who knew her. From Sharon's loving family: You took a piece of us with you the day you left, leaving us unable to catch our breath. This isn't how it was supposed to be! The world carries on like nothing has happened, but not us. We're stuck in this uncomfortable place of pain that no one can see. We have ask God to bring you back as we fall to our knees.Tossed to and fro in a raging tide of emotion; without you, we are just so lost and broken. We can still hear you calling our names, then reality sets in and we are reminded that our life will never be the same. Out of the corner of our eyes, we can see you there, but when we turn to look, you had faded away. What we wouldn't give to just have one more day. One more day to hold your hand and to watch you live your life as you planned. One more day to sing our song, "Close To You," and listen to you sing it to your sons too. We think about all the things we'll miss, your smile, your laugh, your kiss. We don't know how to make it through this, when all we want is to call it quits. As we look into your children and grandchildren's eyes, we know we have to carry on so we can tell them about their mom. We'll tell them how much you loved them and how you couldn't wait for them to be here. Because of them, we know you will always be near. Our little angel has gone, but to her children we will continue to sing our song.
Sharon Renee Mayes will be truly and dearly missed by a host of loving relatives and devoted friends. Psalm 73:26
