Rev. Dr. Noel Battle was a loving husband, a wonderful father, a desired friend and a very profound man of God. During his early years, Noel spent time serving his country in the Army, participated as a community activist during the civil rights movement and became an entrepreneur while raising his family. Not only was he a great educator that showed others how he progressed and prospered with a black owned business, Mr. Battle was active in socioeconomics to the neighborhoods and people that were at a disadvantage in their lives. Although he had been faithfully serving under other's leadership for many years, God was preparing him for his own. After finishing his education in Theological Studies with the highest degree for American University of Theology School, he went on to start his ministry. He became the founder and leader with the titles Rev. Dr. Noel Battles when he established First Comfort Missionary Baptist Church in 1987. The congregation began to grow over the years as First Comfort Missionary Baptist Church opened their doors for those who wanted to educate themselves spiritually and professionally. Rev. Dr. Noel Battle has rested all of his labor when God called his good and faithful servant home....Well Done!!!
