With Deep Sympathy, We the staff of Stocks Funeral Home, Kirkwood Chapel Announce the passing of Mr. Johnnie L. Ward , who passed away Thursday, August 26th, 2021. Celebration of Life for Mr. Ward will be held Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at 12noon in our Chapel. He will lie in repose from 11am until the hour of Service on Saturday. Mr. Ward will have a Visitation on Friday, September 3rd, 2021 between the hours of 12pm & 7pm. His final resting place will be at Washington Memorial Garden; 700 Jordan Ln, Decatur. As the song writer pended, We’ve come this far by faith, Leaning on the Lord. Trusting in his holy word. For he’s never failed us yet. We’ve come this far by faith. Just remember the good things He has done. Things that seemed impossible. Oh, praise Him for the vict’ries He has won, and we know that Mr. Ward has won the Victory!
