Betty Jo (Freeman) Catchings

Mother Betty Jo Catchings was a loving mother, wonderful grandmother and devoted Christian, who loved serving the Lord and her church respectfully. Betty Jo lived for those who loved her and for those who knew her heart truly. She was a faithful and devoted Stewart of the Lord. She lived for the Heaven that smiled above her as it awaited her spirit too. She was always there for the cause that lacked assistance, for the wrongs that needed resistance and for her family’s future in the distance. She was a strong matriarch leader that taught others how to trust in God and not money. Those who followed Mother Catchings on God’s journey was taught that their faithfulness will also earn them a peaceful disposition, so bright and sunny. With a loving heart, she was not the person that sat around and wished to help others to get along some way or another. She would just kindly extend out her hand to anyone who needed a true friend. She always had the will to give or lend as she saw other’s need. Betty Jo didn’t need earthly glory because she knew that God used her to show others that her life was not just a simple story. Now, she has rested all of her labor as her time on earth comes to an end. Her duties as a mother, grandmother and devoted friend has been passed on. So, Mother Betty Jo Catchings, go and run free with the angels and dance around the golden clouds. For the Lord has chosen you to be with him and we will continue to feel nothing but proud. Although he has taken you from us, our pain will always feel like a lifetime that will last forever. Your memory will never escape us, but you made us glad for the time we did have with you. Mother your face will always be hidden deep inside our hearts. Each precious moment you gave us shall never, ever depart. So, go and run free with the angels as they sing so tenderly. Please be sure to thank them for helping you to watch over us for so many years and allowing you to see several blessed generations was a plus. Now that heaven is your new eternal home, God will take care of you for us.
