It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bishop Stewart Reese, a beloved friend, devoted family member, and cherished member of the community. Mr. Reese entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 17, 2026. His kind spirit, warm presence, and unwavering love for those around him will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Visitation will be held at Bethesda Cathedral on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Homegoing Celebration will be held at Bethesda Cathedral on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM. 57th Founders Day Celebration will be held at Bethesda Cathedral on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026 at The Georgia National Cemetery (Canton) at 11:00 AM.
