Sherry Spencer  Age 57  January 8, 1958 ~  May 24, 2015 Saturday, May 30, 2015 12: Noon  Pastor Joel Gatlin~Officiating     Sherry Spencer was born on January 8, 1958, to the union of the late Jim  McFarland and Ella Lee Abrams McFarland of the London community in  Columbia, Mississippi. Sherry joined Owens Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at a young age  and continued her service for the Lord until her health failed. Sherry attended Columbia High School and graduated from there in 1976. Sherry was united in holy matrimony with Lonell Spencer, Sr. in December  1976. To their union two children were born: Christy and Lonnie, Jr. At the time of her passing, Sherry was employed with C.A.R.S., a local care  provider service. Sherry was preceded in death by: her parents, Jim and Ella Mae  McFarland; two brothers, Clarence and Lavern McFarland; one sister,  Joann Brent; mother-in-law, Lillian Spencer; brother-in-law, Henry Spencer;  sister-in-law, Eloise Spencer Lewis. Sherry departed this life on Sunday,  May 24, 2015.   The memories of Sherry will linger with: her husband, Lonell Spencer Sr.;  her daughter, Christy Spencer; her son Lonell Spencer, Jr. one brother,  Magel McFarland; five sisters, Annette (Willie) Wells, Claudette Bolton,  Thelma (Shirley) Jhnson, Gwendolyn Jacobs, Pandolan (Ronnie) Lott; one  aunt, Bertha Green of Memphis, TN; two brother-in-laws, Levell Spencer  and Alonzo Spencer, Sr.; one sister-in-law, Lillie (Harry) Magee; a host of  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
