Robert Charles West was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who was shown so much love by all who knew him. If we only had five minutes the day you passed away, we would have had time to tell you all the things we needed to say. We never got to tell you for the last tine how much you mean to us or that you were the best husband, dad, and friend better than any man could be.The last time we talked to you, we wish we would have known. We would have said we love you once more and kept held you closer in our arms. If we only had five minutes the moment you passed away, We'd give you one last hug so tight and see your great big smile. We'd tell you that it's going to be hard to live without you, not even for a while. We'd kiss your cheek and take your hand and tell you it's okay to go and tell you that we'll miss you more than you'll ever know. But you were gone so quickly. One last car ride we would have wanted you to take, but before we knew it, you were standing at heaven's gate. Now God has called upon you and it's time to get your wings. You were ready to take your flight to leave this life behind you and enjoy all of heaven's beautiful things. So wait for us in heaven, our forever patriarch because we don't want to come in alone. The day the angels come for any one of us; please be there to welcome us home.
