Phyllis Renayee Smith was a loving mother, wonderful daughter and a devoted friend to all who knew her. She has gone across the river to the shore of ever green. We long to see her dear face, but the river slows between. Some day, at some time, we shall see the face we loved so well. Some day we'll clasp her loving hand and never say farewell. A wonderful mother, woman and aid, one who was better God never made. A wonderful worker who was so loyal and free; One in a million-mother was she. Just in your judgment, Phyllis was always right, honest, liberal and always ever upright. She was so loved by all her friends and all we knew of her was a wonderful mother. When God created mothers, He knew there had to be a very special person who could guide a wonderful family. He gave her warmth and tenderness and lots of love to share. He taught this mother how to listen and showed everyone how to care. God sent Phyllis to guide us from the moment of our birth. God's very best creation was our mom here on earth.
