Michael Jerome Pickens was loving father, awesome brother, devoted companion and desired friend. On the wings of a white dove God set his spirit free, up into the big deep sky to heaven  where Michael will be. We know God has a plan for us. He wants us by His side, but it is hard for us to understand when we are left behind. Loving doves will help lift our hearts as we watch him go. God is there if we just ask because He loves us so.God will always send down His love on the wings of a dove. At Jesus' baptism and from this time on the dove has been a symbol of purity, love, peace and gentleness. Today as we say good-bye to Michael Pickens and reflect on the joy and companionship he provided. Let us think today of the flight of the dove and that the dove will carry the love for the life Michael gave to us all. Today as we say our final good-byes to Michael Pickens, let the flight of the doves symbolize the spirit of God and know that Michael Jerome Pickens is now at rest going homeward bound. Michael Pickens will truly be missed by a host of relatives and friends.
