Ms. Benton was a loving sister, mother and grandmother. Maxine made everyone around her smile because her smile was bright and contagious. She was a woman of God which shows when she walked into any room. Ms. Benton was a  member at Coan Recreation Center Edgewood Shining Stars and Dekalb-Atlanta Senior Center where she served as President of Site Counseling. Maxine Benton is still loved by the many family members and friends that she has accumulated throughout the years. The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many acts of kindness and support during this time of bereavement.
