Jannie Carolyn McCotter was a loving sister, wife, mother and friend. She was adored by many and showed her love to others. God knew she would be a nurturer, so He groomed her into a family that did not mind pouring their love into her. God also knew that one day, she would be a good leader and a mother. God knew Jannie would be resourceful, so He made her clever. When she stopped working at the elementary school, she continued to read and teach her children better by studying scriptures. God knew she would be a caretaker, therefore He attached the people who would need her to care for them because through Him she was their healer. God knew she would be the matriarch, so He made sure she was survived by people who loved her. After losing so many people around her and help raising more children than she had, she knew that the bigger her family was the more love would come from it. Everyone knew she was a good woman, beaming with class, love and style. She stayed sharp and loved a good compliment, as much as she loved to make others smile. God knew she would need support some day, so he hand picked certain ones to care for her when she needed help. Her blood and chosen family were the brightest stars in her solar system. God knew that Jannie was special and He knew just how much to all of the people who loved her dearly. God knew when she was tired but for her family she held on. With Jannie in His arms, He said, "Job Well Done" and welcomed her to come on home. Jannie knew she was inspiring; a role model for more than a few. She walked in truth and light with a golden heart, as well as, someone we all could look up to. She was dynamic, she would lift you up when you were down. Some called her Jannie, but we called her our Queen. Thank you for loving us and we will continue to make her proud!
