Gary W. Daniels, age 72, of Atlanta, passed peacefully at his residence on April 8, 2026.

He was born on September 17, 1953, in Sanford, to the late William W. Daniels Jr. and Constance A. Daniels.

Gary was a proud Boy Scout who achieved the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in scouting. He graduated from Seminole High School, Class of 1973, before honorably serving his country in the United States Army. Gary retired from iShine Chemical in Atlanta, Georgia, after many years of dedicated service.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, William W. Daniels Jr. and Constance A. Daniels; his brother, Ronald K. Daniels; and his sister, Sandra L. Daniels-Fudge.

He leaves to cherish his devoted wife of 53 years, Stephanie R. Daniels; his children, Gary J. Daniels, Jermal Daniels (Daphane), Donald Lewis (Jessica), and Keymorra Beasley; his siblings, William W. Daniels III (Jackie), Minister Cathy Tyler (Michael), and Tammy Daniels; his aunt, Eva Mae Black; mother-in-law, Bertha Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Midway Community Center, 2251 Jitway Ave, Sanford, FL 32771.
