Evangelist and Elder Barbara Ann Overtree-Phillips was a loving mother, grandmother, a very devoted Christian that loved the Lord and served as a prayer warrior throughout her life. There are times when only a mother's love can understand tears, can soothe disappoints and calm all of fears.There are times when only a mother's love can share the joy we feel when something we've dreamed about quite suddenly is real. There are times when only a mother's faith can help us on life's way and inspire in us the confidence we need from day to day. Blessed with a mother's heart and a mother's faith with steadfast love, this mother, sister, missionary, evangelist and elder was fashioned by the angels and sent from God above. God needed to put someone special in every place with loving hands to help erase the teardrops from each loved one's face, so He thought of Evangelist Barbara Phillips. He could not send his prayer warriors here to be alone and leave them to a fate unknown without providing a leader for His own.Therefore, He gave special outstretched arms to this mother. God also gave her the heart to love us night and day as she kneel beside us as when we pray. He handcrafted her to be the angel when we are hurting to kiss all of our aches and pain away. When her parenting days began, He simply told her to take command as He placed her daughter's tiny hand securely into hers. As the days of youth slipped quickly by while life's sun rose higher in the sky. Barbara kept her blessed as she became full grown yet ever nigh.When Evangelist Barbara Phillips life's span of years came to an end, we knew that God had gladly dispatched all of the angels to welcome home His child and everyone's special friend.
