Essence Nicole Jamison was a loving daughter and friend to all who knew her. She was the apple of her parents eye and made everyone smile.  Remember when the sun shined so bright? You were here and you love me with all your might. Now the good Lord has taken you away, but in my heart you will always stay. When the Lord called your name, I didn't think I could go on, but your love assured me it would be okay and I would have to move on. There are so many thoughts left unspoken, wishing I could go back and tell you everything that left me heart broken. Walking by your casket was too much to bear, hearing people whisper this girl is too young to go anywhere. I know I wasn't just fine when you died because it still haunts me deep down inside. Sometimes I see you standing there and I try to run but you turn into thin air. Life will never be the same since you're gone, but one thing you taught me is how to be strong. If I could speak to you one last time, I would say, "Why did you have to go so far away?" A meeting was held quite far from Earth. It was time again for another birth. Said the Angels to the Lord above– "This special child will need much love because her progress may be very slow accomplishment which may not show. She'll require extra care from the folks she meets down there. Essence may not always run or laugh or play and sometimes her thoughts may seem quite far away. So many times she will be labeled as loving, helpful and exciting. So, let's be careful where she's sent. We want her life to be content so, please, Lord, find the parents who  will do a special job for you. They will not realize right away the leading role they are asked to play. But with this child sent from above comes stronger faith, and richer love. Soon they'll know the privilege given in caring for their gift from heaven. Their precious daughter Essence, so meek and mild is heaven's very special child."

Essence Nicole Jamison will be truly missed by so many who dearly loved her. Psalms 23
