Diana Marie Slaton was a wonderful mother, beautiful sister and a devoted friend to all who knew her. Diana, we looked at you and see a walking miracle. With sad farewell, we say goodbye. Her journey on earth is now done. We hope she is home in the best place and welcomed in heaven as the dearest one. Only heaven is her true home. Heaven is where we all belong. Life on earth is a dying exile. Heaven is a joyous life played like her favorite song. Mothers have unfailing love without limit. Diana ability to soothe our every hurt. The way she was on duty, unselfishly, every hour, every day, makes us so grateful that we are hers, and she was ours. With open arms and open heart with enduring patience and inner strength, she gave so much for us sometimes at your expense. Diana was our teacher, our comforter, our encourager, appreciating all and forgiving all. Sometimes we took her for granted as a mom and we now know that it will never happen again. We know that everything we are today relates to her and her loving care. We never gazed or wondered as we watched Diana doing her—our miracle, our mother. She is always there when we needed her to comfort and to care. We know we were always in her thoughts; Her love follows us everywhere. Thank you for all you've done and given so generously. We love you, our wonderful mother. You're a heaven sent blessing to us.
