Friendly Hope (Carter) Ross

Friendly Hope Carter-Ross was a loving mother, an understanding grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Friendly's name describes her well; When you're sad and depressed, she was there to put a smile on your face. When you're angry and frustrated, she was there to calm you down. When you're hurt and in tears, she was there to wipe them away and mend the pain. When you're lonely and have no one, she was there to comfort you. When you're feeling unloved and unwanted, she was there to tell you how very important you are. When you're having a bad day and need to lash out, Friendly was there to help let off steam. When there is something on your mind that you need to say, she was there to listen and understand. When you're lost in confusion, she was there to help you figure things out. When you feel like you're going crazy, she was there to bring you back to sanity. When you are so overwhelmed and need to get away, she was there with open arms so we can run away together. When you're scared and frightened, she was there to protect you and make you feel safe. When you are full of worries, she was there to worry with you. Friendly promised that she will always be here for her loved ones, today, tomorrow and forever! Friendly also knew that there was no light without a dawning: No winter without a spring and beyond the dark horizon. Our hearts will once more sing…For those who leave us for a while have only gone away out of a restless, care worn world Into a brighter day.
